CLIENT’S DREAMS & GOALS
Empty nesters left behind the rolling hills of the peninsula to move into San Francisco and enjoy city living. Fitting their belongings into this smaller, urban residence was a challenge as well as an opportunity for new decor and furnishings.
OUR APPROACH
We wanted to maintain the classic detailing of this Russian Hill Victorian while making the home more livable by adding storage wherever possible. We designed a new mantel with media and book cabinets built around the fireplace. A custom bar cabinet was designed for entertaining, and new furnishings were purchased to fit the smaller scale.

Period windows required a custom bent rod for floor-to-ceiling drapery. The Resin topped table is surrounded by cozy Parson's chairs covered in suede and accented with nail heads.
